When Shield Arms released the S15 magazine for the Glock 43X and 48 they changed the concealed carry game. Using steel instead of plastic for the magazine body allowed them to increase the magazine capacity by 5 rounds without changing the dimensions of the magazine. Now they've applied the same concept to the Glock 43. The Z9 magazine is the same length as the OEM 6-round magazine with the pinky extension but the Z9 hold 9 rounds. That's a 50% increase in capacity with a 0% increase in magazine length! A steel magazine body and durable impact resistant base pad means these mags are built to withstand a lot of abuse. A Powercron coating offers superior resistance to corrosion which is great for anyone who carries their pistol in humid environments or near salt water. These magazines work best when paired with a Shield Arms metal magazine release to avoid wearing down the stock plastic release.
